Support Staff

Serena Richardson

I have been passionate for all animals all my life and knew that was always a career path I would choose. I worked with humans as a care aide for ten years and move to animal health for the last three years. Working with animals has been the best change I could have made. I myself have 2 senior dogs, 1 puppy, and two cats. I also have two human children ages 1 and 3. We are a very busy but loving household. I used to live in Kelowna BC and worked at a holistic vet, so I am educated on different holistic approaches as well as conventional medicine. My animals are my world, and I can’t wait to meet yours.

Racheal Higgins

I am a summer student at Capilano Animal Clinic, learning many things to help complete my RVT schooling. It’s always been my passion to help animals and practice the medical care. I have 5 fur babies, 2 dogs Cooper and Autumn, then two cats Hobbs and Shaw. My last animal is a horse named Nevada and I’ve always strived to keep them healthy.

Cassidy Onions

Hi, I’m Cassidy! I have worked with dogs for many years at various daycares/kennels throughout the city. I have 2 dogs of my own – a spunky Boxer Catahoula cross, and an anxious Staffordshire Terrier cross. I am also a step-mom to a wonderful 6-year-old boy.

In my spare time, I like to go camping, hiking, and of course watch Netflix. I am also into photography. I love capturing those perfect moments and memories.

I am beyond grateful to continue working with animals and helping them be as comfortable as they can while visiting our clinic. I look forward to meeting each and every one of them!
